The Research Chair will allow an outstanding foreign scientist to be hosted in one of the laboratories affiliated to the Foundation. Applications in all fields of mathematical sciences are eligible. The Research Chair titular will be supported for a 12 months stay in this laboratory, which might be split over three years. The hosting period may start on September 1st and would be concluded by a one-day meeting. The Research Chair titular's net monthly salary will be € 6,200.

Chair allocation
The Foundation’s Research Chair titular will receive an allocation for his scientific expenses which global amount might reach up to € 68,000.
Chair application procedure
The application has to be proposed by a nominator, member of one of the laboratories affiliated to the Foundation.
The application itself must consist of the following documents:
- The completed application form.
- The completed financial form.
- The curriculum vitae.
- The list of publications and a presentation of the scientific production of the applicant.
- A detailed description of the scientific project, mentioning also the period(s) of stay.
- A letter of support from the Head of the host laboratory of the Foundation.

Chair selection procedure
The jury, composed of the Scientific council and of the three qualified members of the Foundation'sBoard of Directors, will take its decisions based on the excellence of the received applications.
Notification of results
The results will be published by the end of february, 2010.
